MUMBAI: ‘Gadar’ fame Bollywood actress Amisha Patel surrendered in court in Ranchi today. On June 21st, she was asked to appear in court once more. The Ranchi Court also issued a warrant for her a few months ago in relation to a fraud case and a transaction involving 2.5 crore Rupees. In the year 2017, Amisha Patel and Ajay Singh attended a programme on "Digital India" that was held in Ranchi's Harmu Housing colony as the chief guests. After talking, they decided to invest in a movie.
He allegedly deposited Rs 2.5 million to Patel's account in order to produce the movie Desi Magic, but neither the actress nor the money was used for the project. She finally issued a cheque under a lot of pressure, but it bounced.
Ameesha Patel and her business partner allegedly promised to refund the money and interest after the movie was finished, according to Ajay Kumar.
