MUMBAI: On Sunday 17 April, the director of the box office hit 'Kashmir Files' announced his upcoming project titled 'Delhi files.'

Apart from the film's announcement filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has also shared important details regarding the film.

While speaking with reporters, Agnihotri stated that 'Delhi Files' will be depicting the dark chapter of 1984 and also includes a lot of facts about Tamil Nadu.

The filmmaker said that the year 1984 is one of the darkest chapters in Indian history as the way Punjab terrorism was handled at that time was inhuman.

He added that it was purely for vote bank politics because of which terrorism was cultivated by the Congress party in Punjab. During the process of creating and destroying this terrorism, congress killed many innocent citizens and covered it up said Agnihotri.

He further said that till today no justice has been served to those affected and nothing is worst than this. People will seek justice and take a stand for themselves if the real facts are presented before them and the past is taught said Agnihotri.

He claimed that the film is not completely about Delhi but it just depicts how the National capital and its rulers from the past starting from Mughal to British to the modern times have destroyed the entire nation.

According to Agnihotri, his upcoming film 'Delhi files' will not just show the reality of Delhi but also presents the important facts about the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The director said that people in India write history based on their political agenda and own narrative rather than being based on facts and evidence.

He also said that the political agenda in India is the western secular agenda and the great Hindu civilization is always ignored by making them believe that they are weak.

Everything the people of India have learned is from the western invaders and rulers added Agnihotri while addressing the media persons on Sunday.
