On Sunday 20 January, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards ceremony for this year was held in Mumbai.
The superfit Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise won the award for the category of 'Film of the Year' and Sidharth Malhotra starer 'Shershah' received the honour of Best Film.
Actor Ranveer Singh has made it to the Best Actor in the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 for his performance in the '83' directed by Kabir Khan.
Ranveer with his excellent acting has led to the great success of the film by getting into the shoes of cricketer Kapil Dev.
The DPIFF award ceremony on Sunday full of glamour and glitz turned out to be a great event for numerous celebrities from Indian cinema as many of them took home the prestigious honour.

The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is a platform for encouraging the most creative and talented artists, filmmakers and to honour them for serving with entertainment.
This award event aims to honour and appreciate the film industry and wide entertainment. It also commemorates the artists, storytellers and writers for being a significant part of Indian cinema.
The DPIFF is organized in the presence of Celebrities, Governor, Industrialists, Delegates, Diplomats and Media. The award night's main objective is to celebrate the legacy of the Father of Indian Cinema- Dadasaheb Phalke.
