"Dynamite" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 1.4 Billion Views

It took one year, 6 months and 3 days for the BTS music video 'Dynamite' to surpass 1.4 billion views on YouTube breaking the previous record set by BLACKPINK's 'DDU-DU-DDU-DU.'

The worldwide popular Korean boy band BTS in their latest achievement has made history by setting more than one new record on the video-sharing app YouTube.

On Thursday 24 February 2022 at around 07:30 pm the music video of BTS titled 'Dynamite' has crossed 1.4 billion views after one year and 6 months of its release.

Dynamite was originally released on 21 August 2020 at around 01:00 pm which means the video has reached such a milestone within a very short period of time.

It took one year, 6 months and 3 days for the music video to earn this new record on YouTube by receiving 1.4 billion views. Now the song has become the fastest K-pop group music video (MV) that is viewed by more than 1.4 billion viewers.

It has broken the previous record set by the music video 'DDU-DU-DDU-DU' by the girl K-pop group BLACKPINK.

The video song 'DDU-DU-DDU-DU' had earlier created the record with the time period of 2 years, 5 months and 7 days.

The BTS group is currently the only K-pop artist group to exceed the huge number of views i.e. 1.4 billion with 3 different music videos.

Earlier BTS has received 1.4 billion views in their two popular song video released on YouTube titled 'DNA in 2017' and 'Boy with Luv' in 2019.

Meanwhile, in another success of the band, it has topped the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) Global Artist Chart 2021 by defeating global music fame artists like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Drake and others.

The Bangtan Boys wins the Global Recording Artist of the year award for 2 consecutive years and this marks a landmark in the South Korean group recording industry.

The year 2021 seems to be a big success for BTS as it is continuing the global dominance with the unique concept of music and now in 2022 the band is touching new heights already.
