Avatar 2 Gets Official Title 'Avatar: The Way of Water', First Footage Unveiled At CinemaCon 2022

The first footage of the Avatar sequel was shown at CinemaCon 2022 in Los Vegas where it was announced that the film titled 'Avatar: The Way of Water' will release on 16 December 2022.

MUMBAI: After years of delay finally, the Avatar sequel by James Cameran has been officially titled 'Avatar: The Way of Water.' The makers have also revealed the first footage along with the film's release date.

On Wednesday 27 April, the first footage from the trailer of the science fiction was unveiled at the      2022 in Las Vegas with 3D effect.

Disney will be releasing the Oscar-winning film's sequel 'Avatar: The Way of Water' on 16 December 2022 after re-releasing Avatar on 23 September 2022 as announced at CinemaCon.

The film cast includes Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Kate Winslet, Sam Worthington, Edie Falco, Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribisi, Cliff Curtis, CCH Pounder, Stephen Lang and Jemaine Clement.

It may be mentioned that the first part of Avatar was released in the year 2009 which continues to remain the top-grossing movie of all time.

The first clip from the film at CinemaCon 2022 showed some scenes of the Na'vi interacting with aquatic mammals. It also depicted Jake Sully and Ney'tiri exploring the various regions of Pandora.

The trailer of the film will be exclusively running in cinemas with Marvel's 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' starring Benedict Cumberbatch which is scheduled to release in the upcoming week.

The sequel produced by Jon Landua will amaze fans with its trailer soon as it will take the audience to the amazing world of Pandora where Ney'tiri explores after leaving home.

Meanwhile, fans could keep calm as the much-awaited project of James Cameron is here with all the important details and will be soon available to watch in theatres

The makers also shared a poster of Avatar 2 on their Instagram account which reveals the film's title. The CinemaCon attendees also got to see the teaser trailer of the masterpiece by James Cameron.
