Popular Indian television actor Karan Patel celebrates his 38th birthday on Tuesday 23 November. Karan has made huge contributions to Indian television as his appearance in most TV shows is much common. Karan has worked in over 20 daily soaps throughout his career in acting winning several awards and frequently working in collaboration with famous TV producer Ekta Kapoor.
Karan was born on 23 November in the year 1983 in Kolkata, India and began his acting career with his debut show in 2000, Kahani Ghar Ghar. Since then he kept appearing in various shows produced by Ekta Kapoor such as Kkavyanjali, Katuri, Kasamh Se Karam Apna Apna and Kesar.
After his dedicated work in many shows, Karan earned much fame and became an established actor in the Hindi television industry. Karan then thought to enter into the world of reality shows and started with appearing in the reality show Nach Baliye Season 3.
After Nach Baliye 3 Karan was seen in numerous reality shows such as Survivor India, Kitchen Champion, Kaun HJeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket, Jhalak Dhikla Jaa and also in the much-watched Colours TV reality show Khatro Ki Khiladi hosted by popular director Rohit Shetty.
Apart from serials and reality shows on the small screen, Karan also tried to make his acting career in Bollywood but it didn't work much well though in the year 2010 he came up with the Movie City of Gold, then appeared in the 2013 film Shootout at Wadala and for the last time in Bollywood he worked in the 2018 film Phamous.
Karan gained much popularity after his performance in the Star plus TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein started in 2013 and continued for six years. His on-screen chemistry in the show with Divyanka Tripathi was loved by viewers. Karan has won several awards for his phenomenal performance as a couple including the STAR Parivaar Award for favorite Jodi (2014, 2015 and 2016), the Indian Telly Award for Best onscreen couple (2015) and many others.
Karan Patel tied the knot with actor Ankita Bhargava in the year 2015 and then had a daughter named Meer in 2019. Karan had also dated other TV actresses before marriage and his most known relationship was with Kamya Panjabi but later parted ways.
