NEW DELHI: 19-year-old Neelanjana Ray from West Bengal has emerged as the winner of the Zee TV singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' this year.
On Sunday 6 March, the show's finale was premiered where all contestants were judges for the last time to declare the winner.
While Neelanjana took home the show's trophy along with 10 lakh Rupees as winning money, Rajashri Bag was the first runner up and Sharad Sharma became the second runner up in the singing competition.
The first runner-up won Rupees 5 lakh as prize money and the Sharad, the 2nd runner-up was awarded a 3 lakh amount.
Television actor Aditya Narayan hosted 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' this year and the judging panel included well-known singers and composers Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan. The special guests on the final episode of the show appeared as Shilpa Roa and Udit Narayan.
Apart from Neelanjana Ray, Rajashri and Sharad top 6 contestants on the Sunday night episode includes Snigdhajit Bhawmik, Sanjana Bhatt and Ananya Chakraborty who performed in iconic Hindi songs.
Earlier Neelanjana made notable achievements in other singing reality shows on different platforms. In 2017 she won as the first runner-up in the 'The Voice India Kids' second season and in 2018 she emerged in the 3rd place of the winner in the Indian Idol Season 10.

Season 6 (2000) - Shreya Ghosal
The singer has made an immense contribution to the music industry and is known as one of the most popular singers. Shreya Ghosal has won four National Awards and 14 Filmfare Awards for her singing.
Season 7 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007) - Debojit Saha
The singer emerged as the winner in 'Voice of India' also and sang Bengali and Assamese language songs as a playback singer.
Season 8 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu 2006) - Ujjaini and Aishwarya
The pair won the show and became much successful by singing at national and international levels. The song 'Munni Badnam Hui from Dabangg is sung by Aishwarya.
Season 9 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007) - Aneek Dhar
The singer performed with his band in various regions across the world and also bagged the trophies of Big Boss Bangla and Zee Bangla SRGMP.
Season 10 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009) - Vaishali Mhade
The Marathi singer has sung many of the songs in her native language and gained much popularity. She is awarded best female playback singer for the 'Vaghi' movie under GESC (Godrej Expert Sahyadri Cine Award) in the year 2014.
Sesaon 11 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar 2010) - Kamal Khan
The song 'Ishq Sufiyana' from the 2011 film 'Dirty Picture' was sung by Kamal Khan which led him to win the Zee Cine Award 2014 in the category of fresh talent male.
Season 12 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012) - Jasraj Jayant
Jasraj Jayant is a Pune playback singer who is at present active in the Marathi film industry.
Season 13 (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016) - Kushal Paul
Being a part of Strum Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the playback singer has recorded many songs and gained recognition.
Season 14) (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2018-19) -Ishita Vishvakarma
The brand ambassador of 'Lado Abhiyan' under the Madhya Pradesh government, Ishita Vishvakarma is currently learning more singing skills from her mother.
