Riding on the wave of success of his latest film “Pathaan”, Shah Rukh Khan is now number 1 in the list of TIME100 Reader Poll. The Badshah of Bollywood defeated the likes of Prince Harry, Mark ZuTIME100 Reader Poll, Shah Rukh Khan, Mark Zuckerberger Poll list, second position went to Iranian women protesting for freedom. It was followed by health care workers, who came in third with a total of 2% of the vote from the readers. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earned about 1.9% of the vote and ranked 4th. Football legend Lionel Messi was on the 5th spot on the list.
Shah Rukh Khan is a celebrated actor in India and worldwide with his fans receiving equal love and good box office numbers outside of the country. His recent film “Pathaan” was a big hit after he returned to films post a gap of a few years. The film also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
Apart from acting, Shah Rukh Khan is also a successful film producer. His latest production was the critically acclaimed film Darlings starring Alia Bhatt in the lead. He co-produced with Alia Bhatt. He is also the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL cricket team.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Atlee’s “Jawan” with Nayanthara and Vijay “Sethupathi”. He will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki”, co-starring Taapsee Pannu, which is also slated to release this year. (Agencies)
