Mumbai: Assam's Florina Gogoi has brought glory to the state after winning the title of Super Dancer 4.
Originally, the little dancer hails from the district of Jorhat in Assam. Born on September 24, 2014, Florina is only six years old but has managed to impress the judges with her impressive dance skills.
During the audition, Florina drew the attention of the judges and the viewers by performing in an oversized T-shirt that belonged to her father. She believed that her father's T-shirt would bring her luck. When she was asked how far Jorhat was from Mumbai, she innocently replied "2 litres". Hearing this, the judges erupted into a fit of laughter. However, Florina was later able to make the judges drop their jaws with her terrific dance moves.
Before joining the show, the six-year-old was a student of Moon Walk Dance Academy in Jorhat which is operated by dancer and choreographer Santos Rabidas.
At present, Florina is 128 centimetres tall and is dancing alongside Tussar Shetty, who is a talented and reputed choreographer.
Florina, also nicknamed Flotus, had also once caused Judge Anurag Basu to break a mug as a symbol of respect for the girl's dance performance. Judge Geeta Kapoor also had bowed down to her performance once.
Being a resident of Upper Assam, it is no wonder that Florina's favourite food is Assamese cuisine. Surprisingly, the dancer's favourite sport is rowing.
Florina had expressed that she is always thinking about dance. She has achieved a big milestone by winning a dance reality show on national platform.
