Varudu Kaavalenu is a Tamil romantic comedy released on 29 October by director Lakshmi Sowjanya casting Naga Shaurya and Ritu Verma. It is produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments production.

The director of Varudu Kaavalenu has tried her best to add simple and refreshing elements to the movie. There are flows in the movie but making it a women-centric film in Tollywood makes it interesting and unique.
Actress Ritu Verma plays the role of Bhoomi as a bold woman who cannot tolerate non-sense and appear as a boss lady. Actor Naga Shaurya plays the role of Akash who returns back from abroad to India and starts a project with Bhoomi. He gets impressed by her independent nature and empowered personality and falls in love with her. Though their love story starts smoothly they had their own past issues and then complications took place between them.
The movie gets more involved with the character of Bhoomi after the first half showing her in more screen time and then it gets slower and less engaging. The movie goes into the flashback of the college days of the lead roles, Bhoomi and Akash which includes some of the action sequences.
The dialogue in the movie seems a bit artificial however they could make it more realistic. Murli Sharma appears as Bhoomi's father bringing light to the story as he shows some of the hard-hitting and honest reality of parenting. The outfit of Ritu in the movie is mostly made of handloom which is a delight to watch her. The acting by Shaurya is graceful as usual and comedy in the movie by Saptagiri makes it more engaging by making the audience laugh. It is a family drama that has some drawbacks that can be neglected because the movie is perfect in showing the meaningful and inspiring concept.
