The latest episode of the StarPlus shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is available to watch on the streaming platform of Hotstar.
The new episode begins with Akshu aka Akshara questioning Aarohi about why she is studying and Aarohi answers that doctors need to study during training. The scene is continued with a discussion about function as Aarohi tells Reem to try jewellery on Akshu and makes it look perfect.
Manjiri enters while Reema tries the jewellery on Akshu and says that keeping the function at home will be much better but Harsh on the other hand refuses as he suggests a 5-star hotel. An argument took place over the matter as Anand and Mahina agree with Harsh but Majiri on this says that she had always managed everything in the house and asked why not this.
Anand then said her to make preparation as per her wish, everything will be managed and on this Manjiri thanked him. Parth said all will have fun asked her to just keep smiling. Manjiri calls for Reema and asked to hold on but Reema says she wants to go to get her mobile charger. Abhimanyu enters and witnessed Akshu on the video call and the call ends.
Kairav asks Vansh that why he is in anger and Vansh replied that he looks fat in whatever he wears. Their discussion about attires continues as Kairav tried to make Vash feel better saying he looks better in Desi avatar on which Vash says people who love you see you beautiful in anything you wear. They talk about the shagun envelopes as Kairav was searching for those envelopes.
Akshara and Abhimanyu see the ring bought for engagement and Akshu says how can she refuse as it is her sister's engagement with Abhi. Reem keeps eye on the arrangement of engagements and Shefali remains busy on a phone call. Everyone loved the decorations and takes selfies.
Harsh started talking badly about Manjiri and Anand regarded him as emotionless asking him to have fun as such family functions are meant for building a family relationship. Harsh continues to taunt Manjiri on everything and says that Aarohi is sensible.
Abhimanyu enters and says that he want to see how Akshara hides her pain from others. He then identifies her bracelet and thought he had returned it earlier and wonders how it came here, he feels her presence. Manjiri welcomes the guests and Mahima praised her attire and says she look tired.
Kairav said that Akshu went to NGO for an urgent case and was unable to attend the function and on this Hash says that is there an emergency in music therapy also, Manish tries to distract his attention by teasing and says him to forget Akshu and concentrate on his dance.
Nishta comes to Abhimanyu and takes him to Aarohi who is looking gorgeous. He asked her about coming of everyone and Nistha replied everyone has come except Akshu. Abhi then calls Akshu and asked her to come as soon as possible as this engagement cannot happen without her presence. Akshu disconnects the phone call and starts crying and said to herself that she lied to her family she cannot go to the function.
