BENGALURU: A young boy from Dibrugarh has managed to record his name in the International Book of Records by bagging a total of 26 certificates within 24 hours.
Sanjoy Das is the name of the record-setter and he is just 33 years old. He completed a Bachelors's in Technology degree as well as a Master's in Business Administration. He is currently working in the field of information technology with Infosys and posted in Bengaluru.
He was successful in completing a record number of courses online within a period of 24 years. These certificates belong to several online courses on management. He was successful in getting 26 online management courses to set the world record for the Maximum Online Management Certificates within 24 hours.
The International Book of Records made the announcement over Twitter. They tweeted, “"The World Record of "MAXIMUM ONLINE MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATES ACHIEVED IN A 24 HOURS" was achieved by SANJOY DAS on 29th March 2023 from Dibrugarh (Assam) India. He achieved 26 management-related certificates from various institutes in 24 hours and has set a new world record for the International Book of Records.”
His name was recorded in the India Book of Records as well as the Assam Book of Records.
Sanjoy Das mentioned that he had been doing the background research to set this record for a very long time. He mentioned a survey that he did, which revealed that someone with 33 certificates completed in 10 days held the state-level record. So he decided to set not only the national, but also the international record as well.
For setting the record, he started at 3:30 AM on March 29 and completed 26 certificates by 11 AM. He also mentioned that his idea was to complete 80% of each course in order to get an instant certificate. Sanjoy Das also mentioned that he applied for the record to the record keepers on the next day.
