Dongguan: Most of the children are curious by nature. However, a Chinese kid took curiosity to another level by inserting a two-foot-long metal wire into his genitals just to see where his urine came from. Known by his pseudo name Xiao He, a thirteen-year-old child inserted a 70-centimetre-long wire in his genitals to track the path. He was rushed to the hospital after parents discovered that he was peeing blood last month.

The information was shared by the hospital on a Chinese social media platform. The doctors in the hospital were "shocked" when they spotted the wires tangled inside his bladder during an X-ray scan. The operation was held in Songshan Lake Central Hospital of Dongguan in southern China.

Xiao confessed to the doctors that he was curious so he inserted the wire into his urethra--the tiny tube that runs from the penis to the bladder and transports urine. He did this around three months ago. What is more shocking is that he hid the entire incident from his parents. The doctors used equipment called cystoscope to pull out the 70-centimetre-long cord.

A doctor of the hospital informed that the wire did not do any damage inside the bladder. Similar cases have occurred from time to time, and therefore, the doctors have suggested the parents to teach basic human anatomy to their children.
