COVID-19 vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech caused headache in volunteers

A 45-year old volunteer, Carrie from Missouri, US said, she experienced severe headache, fever, and body pain after her first injection

Missouri: As the fight against COVID continues, the world is eagerly waiting for a vaccine against the deadly virus. Several pharma companies across countries are working towards manufacturing a vaccine.

While Russia has already announced its Sputnik V against COVID, there has been some positive news from Pfizer-BioNTech, the pharma giants who too are working on a vaccine and as per initial reports in their trial stage, it has proved to be 90 percent effective ina  treating the virus.

But reports have now come in stating that some of the volunteers have reported side effects like severe headaches, hangover and muscle aches.

A 45-year old volunteer, Carrie from Missouri said, she experienced severe headache, fever, and body ache after her first injection. These effects only got worse after the second shot, she said.

According to a media report, volunteers who participated in the Pfizer vaccine trial, most of them developed similar symptoms like headaches and they also claimed the vaccine left them with fever and body ache.

As per Press Association's report out of 43,500 people across six different countries who were part of the trial reported side effects after its first dose.
