Former Miss Ukraine Joins Military To Defend Country In Fight Against Russia

Amid the massive military invasion of Russia in Ukraine, a former Miss Ukraine Anastasia Lenna has now joined with the military forces of her country Ukraine to fight against Russia and protect her nation.

Anastasia Lenna is known as the beauty queen who represented Ukraine in the Miss Grand International beauty contest held in the year 2015.

In the previous week, when the Russian started attacking Ukraine with explosions in the major cities of the country, Lenna took up arms to fight this war.

On Saturday 26 February Lenna posted a picture of herself on the social media platform Instagram where she was seen carrying a rifle and wearing military gear.

In an Instagram story shared by the former Miss Ukraine, she warned the Russian forces writing that everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intention to invade the country will be killed.

According to the reports, Lenna also posted messages and photos supporting the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding him as a true and strong leader.

Anastasia Lenna through her posts on Instagram asked for support from various other countries across the globe. In one of her posts, she urged her countrymen to take down road signs so that Russian armies find it difficult to navigate the country.

She also wrote in her caption that the Russian Invaders will die in Ukrainian lands and anyone who wishes to join Europe's defence security can come on the Ukrainian side to fight against the 21st-century invaders.

Apart from being a beauty icon and a brave citizen, Lenna is also known in the country with other recognition as she is capable of speaking 5 languages. As a part of her career, Lenna also worked as a translator.

She has completed her graduation from Slavistik University located in the country's capital Kyiv. Lenna is gradated in the field of marketing and management.

Meanwhile, a total of 102 civilians that including 6 children were killed as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

According to the recent update, Ukraine has stated that the country wants an immediate ceasefire and withdrawal of the Russian armed forces.
