Russia Announces List of Unfriendly Countries And Territories Including US & UK; Check Full List

The Russian Government authorized the list of countries and territories being unfriendly towards Russia and the list includes the UK, UN, Canada and Australia among others.

NEW DELHI: The Russian government has recently issued a list of countries and territories that are having unfriendly relations with Russia and had imposed sanctions against the nation after the Russian Armed Forces started special military operations in Ukraine.

According to the Russian government, the list includes different countries across the world that have been against Russia in taking action during the war crisis and are acting against Russian citizens and Russian organizations.

The countries added in the approved unfriendly list of countries & territories have introduced economic sanctions against Russia in responding to the special military operation by Russian troops in Ukraine.

The list of countries and territories that are not cordial with Russia includes the United Kingdom, EU states, United States, Canada, Ukraine, Australia, Norway, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Albania, Montenegro, Monaco, Andorra, Micronesia, San Marino, Taiwan, Liechtenstein and North Macedonia.

The United Kingdom in the list includes the British Virgin Island, Jersey, Gibraltar and Anguilla all are declared unfriendly with Russia. The official list of unfriendly countries with Russia has been shared by TASS News Agency.

On Monday 7 March, the list was released and published by the Russian government in taking action against those nations standing against Russia in different ways during the war period.

As per the official order, all Russian citizens and entrepreneurs, the state, its regions and municipalities having foreign exchange commitment to foreign creditors from the unfriendly countries will play them in Russian currency, rubles. The fresh interim process applied to monthly payments of over 10 million rubles.

According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday 8 March, the country had announced a ceasefire in the ongoing war in Ukraine to provide humanitarian corridors in the major cities of Ukraine.

This comes after both country's 3rd round of negotiation that was held on Monday 7 March in Belarus but it was a total failure as per reports.

Meanwhile, civilians in Ukraine have been struggling throughout the war crisis and are evacuated in different places for safety. However many are taking up arms to protect their nation and fight against Russia while some lost their lives following the military operation by Russian troops.
