New Delhi: The Russian troops that entered Ukraine for war have not only brought massive destruction to the major cities of the country but also outraged the modesty of women as they allegedly raped Ukrainian women in a basement of a house in the city of Bucha.

Details about terrible crimes have come to the fore, including rape, murder, torture, and abuse.

Various war crime investigators have recently disclosed the horrific crimes committed by the Russian troops during its invasion of Ukraine.

As per reports, several women and girls were kept in the basement of a house in Bucha for 25 days, where they faced brutal torture from the Russian forces.

Among those women, nine are now found to be pregnant and it is confirmed by Ukraine's official ombudsman for human rights, Lyudmyla Denisova.

"About 25 girls and women aged 14 to 24 were systematically raped during the occupation in the basement of one house in Bucha. Nine of them are pregnant," Ukraine's ombudsman for human rights Lyudmyla Denisova told BBC.

She also informed about other similar crimes stating that a 14-year-old girl was raped by 5 men, who left her pregnant and an 11-year-old boy was raped in front of his mother.

In sharing about another incident that took place in Irpin, Denisova added a 20-year-old woman was raped by 3 occupiers in all possible ways at once.

Taking to Facebook, she wrote that the level of brutality of Russian armies knows no bounds as they raped children.

Further, she has also appealed to the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) to take these facts of Russian war crime into account and take necessary steps.

In another crime against women in the war-hit country, a man named Anna was rapped at gunpoint by five Russian soldiers, who forcefully entered her house and killed her husband.

On Monday, a senior United Nations official named Sima Bahous stated to the Security Council that all the allegations need to be investigated independently and the brutality shown against Ukrainian civilians has raised all red flags.

However, the Russian Deputy UN ambassador Gennady Kuzmin has denied all the allegations and said that Ukraine and its allies are intentionally presenting Russian troops as rapists.
