Smartphone games have gained much popularity ever since the lockdown started in 2020. Game Developers have designed some great games with graphics to help people get through those extra hours inside the house.

The lives cooped inside our homes have started to get dull and mundane for most of us. With limited physical activities, there is not much left to do at home. In this situation, mobiles come to the rescue. Reports say that there has been a spike in smartphone usage by people since the coronavirus outbreak. People are generally spending more time in front of the screens.

As per data an average of 5-6 hours a day an individual is spending on their smartphones. Besides working from home people are also spending time scrolling different social media apps and watching content on OTT (over the top) platforms.

Many people have also started playing mobile games to beat boredom. Not many people have sought to play competitive games like PUBG, but simpler and basic games for entertainment. However, it is advised to not get habituated to any game. It's advisable to have a limited screen time.

This game has a very good rating on the PC platform but a mobile version has come out. The mobile version is simpler to control. The graphics are really cute and the difficulty level increases with every upward level. The storyline of the game is to collect resources to survive untimely death.

This War of mine:

This is another splendid survival game. This game was developed by 11-bit studios. It is a serious survival game. A group of civilians try to survive a war situation in the game and avoid enemies to keep folk alive.

Ludo King:

Ludo has been the most played game since the lockdown started last year. This has been a classic game and is loved by all. As per data, this game was downloaded 36 million times in 2020.


Among Us:

This game is quite sinister but has very cute graphics of little astronauts. The twist in the game is that there are 10 players out of which 1-3 will be imposters while others are the spaceship workers. This is a fun game as it proceeds and can help people kill time.
