Skoda Launches Its New Sedan Slavia In India, Know About Its Specifications and Price

New Delhi: Czech car maker, Skoda, has launched its new car named Slavia on Thursday in India. The car has been launched in five colours options and in three trims such as Active, Ambition, and Style.

Since, this was the global launch, the pre-bookings has started on Skoda Slavia release date i.e. on Tuesday following the announcement.

The car comes with round air vents, 16 inch alloy wheels, L-shaped headlights, bumper with wider air inlets, a horizontal decorative trim strip in contrasting colours, wordmarks on the binnacle and with a vertical grille with chrome front.

Slavia Engine specifications:

The premium midsize Slavia comes in two engine variants like 1.0 TSI and 1.5TSI with six air bags. The first variant which is one litre-three cylinder petrol engine generates 113bhp pf power and 175Nm of torque. This variant has six speeds manual and six speed automatic gearbox options.

On the other hand, the 1.5-litre four-cylinder which comes with turbocharged engine gets 150 bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. This variant comes with a six-speed manual and a seven speed DSG automatic gear box options.

Slavia Infotainment system:

The infotainment system of this car is loaded with a new 10 inch digital instrument cluster in the cockpit. The car is also equipped with automatic climate control apart from having six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Slavia lighting department:

The car has got sharply defined headlights with an L-shaped daytime running light strip.

According to the company, the car has been built on MQB‑A0-IN platform and designed to meet new, stricter safety and emissions specifications.

Skoda Slavia price India:

The car will be available for sale by next year's March and it is expected that the price of the sedan will start from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The car will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
