The main entrance of the factory is best at the Northeast, East or North. The Central west and Central south can also be considered. Plots that have the main roads to the South or West can have the main entrance at the Southern southeast or Western northwest.
The Shape of the Plot
Shermukhi or Lion-shaped plots are supposed to be best for factories. These plots are wider in the front. Square or rectangular plots are better. A plot with an extension towards northeast is considered very lucky. There should not be any cuts in the plot. If there is a cut, appropriate protection and correction must be done before construction.
The Boundary Wall
A boundary wall protects the plot from external forces. While constructing a boundary wall, the walls at the South and West should be made little higher and thicker than the walls at North and East.
Main Gate and Security Cabin
If the main gate is facing the East, the security office should be constructed at the Southeast. If the main gate is at the North, the security counter should be at the Northwest. Both South and West facing gates should have the security cabin at the Southwest.
The Northeast
The northeast portion of a factory must be dealt with caution. There should NOT be a cut, toilet, septic tank, dust bin or any heavy structure at Northeast. It is best to have the deep tubewell and underground water tank at Northeast. But DO NOT construct an overhead water tank here.
The Southeast
The Southeast is ruled by the fire element. All electrical items like the transformer, switchboard panels, diesel generator set, boilers and chimneys should be placed at Southeast. The pantry of the industry should be located at Southeast.
The parking area should be made at the Southeast or Northwest. The toilets can also be placed around these areas. The West is also a good direction for toilets.
The heavy machinery should be placed at Southwest, South and West. Lighter machines and equipments should be placed at the East or North. The finished goods should be kept at the northwest or Vayu Kon.
The administration department can be placed at North or East. The owner or head of the factory should sit at Southwest facing the North or East only.
Care must be taken to keep the center of the factory vacant with a passage or lobby.
It is good to plant trees around the factory campus. DO NOT plant big trees at North, East or Northeast. Grass lawns are good at the North and East. Here flowers can also be planted.

1. The Direction
Money plants should always be planted in the correct direction. If the money plant is not kept in the right direction, according to the rules of vaastu shastra it can also bring bad luck. Never plant it in the North-East direction. It is said that planting the money plant in this direction leads to financial losses. Besides financial losses, there will be a surge in the negative energies of the place. Money plants should always be kept in the South-East direction. Lord Ganesha rules in this direction and represents well being and prosperity. Keeping plants in this direction ensures blessings.
2.The Money plant should not touch the ground
The growth of the money plant very fast. So take care that the plant's vines do not touch the ground. Its creepers should be aided through a rope or a ladder so that it climbs upward. According to vaastu, the growing vines are the symbol of growth and prosperity. Money plant is believed to be a form of Goddess Lakshmi and this is the reason why it should not be allowed to touch the ground.
3. Don't let the money plant wither
According to vaastu, a dried money plant is the symbol of misfortune. It symbolises drying up of finances .So keep watering the money plant on a regular basis to avoid this. If the leaves start to dry, cut and remove them.
4. Do not keep the money plant outside the home:-
Always keep the money plant inside the factory or house. This plant does not need much sunlight so it can be planted indoors. According to vaastu, it is not auspicious to plant the money plant in the outdoors. It can dry up in the sun outside and will not grow. A stunted growth of the plant is inauspicious and affects finances.
5. Do not give money plants to others
According to vaastu, money plants should never be given to others as gifts. The planet Venus rules the Southeast direction and Venus becomes angry if the money plant is given away. Venus is the symbol of prosperity and well being. So do not get deprived of its blessings by giving away the money plant.
6. Money plant in the bedroom
The money plant can be kept in the bedroom. It should be placed either on the left or the right side of the bed. However, never keep this plant near the headrest or the footrest of the bed.
7. Colour of the money plant
The money plant is available in many colour combinations. Green or blue ones are the best. For best results, grow the money plant in a green or blue vase. This will invite more wealth and help to remove any obstacles in the flow of positive energy.
Though it is a Chinese way of arranging and keeping things, Feng Shui can be applied easily as the rules are relatively inexpensive and simpler to follow. Feng Shui is more of common sense with certain ideas of basic elements.
It gives extreme importance to flowers and plants. Keep three plants in earthen pots at the East. The East is the direction of the wood element. Some lucky plants are the money plant, Crassula (jade plant or friendship tree), the bamboo plant, rose etc. Avoid Bonsai plants as they arrest growth of plants. Similarly dried flowers should be avoided as they signify death. Do not keep cactus or plants producing sap from its leaves.
The pictures of wooden furniture placed in the East are considered to be lucky.
The bamboo plant is very lucky at home or place of work. Keep it at the East.
The tinkling sound of windchimes is very soothing. Keep windchimes having 7 or more rods near the door or window at the Northwest or West. Avoid windchimes at the East.
It is very auspicious to hang metal coins on a red thread on the handle of the main door. They can also be hung at Northwest or West. Coins are kept for luck in the cash box also.
Keep a bowl or small bottle with filled with salt. Change it regularly. It will absorb negative energy.

Vaastu is an India system and so Indian astrology is considered. People born under Singha rashi do well in East facing houses as the Sun is the ruler of this Rashi. Use golden yellow, silver and orange colours in the house. If the kitchen is located at the Southeast, it will increase confidence and bring growth and prosperity.
