Bengaluru: A boy from Mumbai, Avkash Shah, has created a motion video and posted it on LinkedIn, as he wanted to do an internship at CRED, the Indian-based credit card payment company. He is a 3D graphic designer. He posted the video to get the attention of the company management.

After he put that extra effort, the founder of CRED responded to his post and the head of design offered him an internship. And it all happened over LinkedIn. With hundreds and thousands of people looking for their dream job, Avkash got the opportunity to be a part of CRED because of his skills and the way he sent them his resume.

Harish Sivaramakrishnan, Head of Design at Cred, posted on LinkedIn, "Hey Avkash Shah – all of us at the CRED Design Mafia loved what you have created here and we are certain that there is a lot more we can dream, envision and create together. Welcome to the interns club at the CRED Design Mafia!"

His post is already viral on LinkedIn and Instagram and people are wondering if there's a new trend in applying for jobs. Many people are already started following him and many of them started talking about it on Twitter.

Graduated from Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Avkash did internships earlier as photographer as well as videographer. According to his LinkedIn profile, he did freelance video producing too.

Founded in 2018, CRED is an Indian fintech company, based out of Bangalore, Karnataka, which was founded by Kunal Shah. CRED's main feature is allowing users to make credit card payments through its app for which they get rewarded. Later, CRED added features to allow users to make house rent payments and introduced short-term credit lines. CRED's business model and valuation have received criticism for being overvalued and lacking a solid monetization plan.

Here are some of the comments:

• His video was really good, probably the most creative way I've seen until now to grab an internship. He only has 105 connections and no fancy bio, and yet he got the internship. Best example of Skills over college degree!

• This kid made a brilliant 3D video on LinkedIn to get an internship with CRED club. I think he'd be a perfect fit.. loved every second of the captivating content he made without learning a thing about him.

• Avkash wanted to Intern at Cred. He made this video and posted it on LinkedIn. It's as simple as that. When you have the skill, let your work talk. Respect. That's all I have for him. He's definitely getting that internship.
