Asthi Visarjan of Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara performed in Haridwar and Varanasi

Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara’s Asthi Visarjan was performed at the holy river Ganga in Haridwar and Varanasi, and at the Sangam in Prayagraj by Joybroto Roy, younger brother of Saharasri Ji & Deputy Managing Worker of Sahara India Pariwar, along with OP Srivastava, Deputy Managing Worker, Sahara India Pariwar and other senior members of Sahara India Pariwar, including Saharasri Ji’s nephews.

LUCKNOW: Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara’s Asthi Visarjan was performed at the holy river Ganga in Haridwar and Varanasi, and at the Sangam in Prayagraj by Joybroto Roy, younger brother of Saharasri Ji & Deputy Managing Worker of Sahara India Pariwar, along with OP Srivastava, Deputy Managing Worker, Sahara India Pariwar and other senior members of Sahara India Pariwar, including Saharasri Ji’s nephews. On November 22, the AsthiVisarjan ritual was performed at Haridwar and on November 21 the same was performed at Sangam in Prayagraj and Varanasi. In each city, large number of people and Sahara workers assembled and proceeded with the Asthi Kalash for Asthi Visarjan. Furthermore, Saharasri Ji’s AsthiVisarjan will also be performed at Aamby Valley City on November 29.

Saharasriji passed away on November 14 at 10.30 pm due to cardiorespiratory arrest following an extended battle with complications arising from metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. He was brought to Lucknow on November 15 and last rites took place on November 16.

In the past few days, from politicians to sportsperson, cinestars to common man all paid their heart touching tributes to Saharasri ji, including star of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan, Chief Minister of UP Yogi Aditya Nath, President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav and many more, paid tributes to Saharasriji and called his demise a big loss to the country.
