Guwahati: SS Rajamouli, filmmaker and visionary extraordinaire, as well as his family members, have tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19 virus on Wednesday, July 30.

Popular singer Kanika Kapoor, known for her hit song 'Baby Doll' picturized on Sunny Leone, had also tested positive for the virus. Reportedly, she is the first Indian celebrity to have become a victim of COVID-19. Kanika urged her fans to take proper precautions amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also tested positive for Covid-19. In the tweet where he announced his 'positive' status, Chouhan wrote, "My dear people, I was having symptoms of #COVID19, after the test my report has come positive. I appeal to all my colleagues that whoever has come in contact with me, get corona test done. People close to me must move to quarantine."
