UTTAR PRADESH: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the "Bharat Drone Shakti-2023" exhibition at the Hindan Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on September 25th. This momentous occasion also witnessed the formal induction of the C-295 transport aircraft into the Indian Air Force, reinforcing the nation's commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities.
The event held at the Hindan Air Base attracted top military officials, including Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, underscoring the importance of the occasion. The Indian Air Force (IAF) collaborated with the Drone Federation of India to host the Bharat Drone Shakti 2023, recognizing the immense potential of domestic drone design and development. Scheduled for September 25th and 26th, this exhibition featured captivating live aerial demonstrations, providing a glimpse into the rapidly evolving world of drone technology.
The use of drones in India has been steadily on the rise, encompassing both military and civilian applications. The IAF initiated the Meher Baba Swarm Drone competition to leverage India's burgeoning drone technology industry and demonstrate confidence in the nation's drone capabilities.
