Dakshinmurthy Krishna Kumar who took his mother on a pilgrimage by scooter

Dakshinmurthy Krishna Kumar from Mysore left his banking job to take his mom on a pilgrimage. Another incident surprised social media; this shows the love towards his mother who even left his career besides his mother’s happiness. Business tycoon Anand Mahindra was also surprised about this incident, this news tugged at the heartstrings of many people.

As per reports, when Kumar’s septuagenarian mother wanted to visit Hampi, he decided to resign from his job and take her on a lengthy “Yatra” of holy places. On his 20-year-old scooter, he took off with his mother riding pillion. Covering a distance of 25,000 km, the mother-son eventually traveled through many states – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerela, Telangana, and Maharashtra.

In the joint family system, mother’s role was confined to the kitchen until his father’s death. So, he decided that his mother deserves not the only quality time from him but also a dignified life for all the sacrifices she has made.

So, he decided to take his mother, who had hardly stepped out of her town on a unique pilgrimage across India.

Kumar’s story and video are captured and shared on Twitter and the clip is now being shared by many. It has managed to capture the attention of Anand Mahindra who is now looking for Kumar because he wants to gift a car to him.

Mahindra wrote on social media, that he personally wants to gift him a Mahindra 100 NXT so next time he can drive his mother in a car.

Since it was shared a few hours back, the post has created quite a stir among people. It has gathered over 5 lakh views and still counting how much it can be reached. More than 7,000 likes and about 1,800 retweets till now.

There were also several who showed appreciation for Kumar as well as Anand Mahindra’s gesture, people couldn’t stop applauding.
