Delhi High Court Chief Justice DN Patel has reportedly tested positive for novel coronavirus.

The chief justice is reportedly in home isolation, sources said, according to news agency PTI report.

Earlier, three other judges of the Delhi High Court had tested positive for COVID-19 positive. They are reportedly in home isolation and have shown mild symptoms.

In view of rising Covid- 19 active cases in the state, the court has previously suspended its functioning on March 23 followed by the government decision to impose lockdown.

It is to be noted that the court is currently conducting hearings through virtual mode only.

The Covid-19 situation in Delhi remained grim as the city reported over 24,000 new coronavirus cases in the last hours on Saturday, according to the figures released by the health department.
