DELHI: A gruesome incident came forth where a man has been arrested for murdering his lover and stuffing her body inside a refrigerator. Delhi police has successfully nabbed the evil headed, who attempted the heinous crime.
As per sources, the incident took place in Delhi, in a village called Mitraon, located near Najafgarh. The reports states that, the man killed the girl as she was compelling him for marriage, however, the family of the boy had already seen some other girl for their son. The duo were in a live in relationship for five long years.
Police officials informed that, the episode came to light on 14th of February, Tuesday, when they received a secretive information regarding Sahil Gehlot and lover Nikki Yadav. The information revealed that Nikki Yadav went missing since his marriage last week. The boy is just 24 years old and the deceased victim was of 22 years old. Sahil was the owner of a roadside restaurant in Delhi.
Sahil confessed his crime at the time of investigation with the police, and described how mercilessly he strangled the girl’s neck just a few hours prior to his wedding, on 10th of February. Later, Gehlot packed her body and had keep it inside a refrigerator in his own eatery. The police further mentioned that, his restaurant was closed following the wedding and the accused had planned to dump the body later.
The story began in 2018, when the duo became friends and started dating each other. Ever since they fell in love with each, the couple decided to move in together. However, Gehlot never confessed about the relationship to his family. Years passed, and on 9th of February, Gehlot got engaged with a girl who was chosen for him by his family.
According to police officials, when the girl got to know about his wedding, she decided to elope with him after a series of arguments. Initially, the duo decided to fly to Goa but later decided to leave for Himachal Pradesh in a bus. When the couple arrived at Kashmere Gate ISBT on 10th February, Gehlot changed his mind as his family members were forcing him to come back for his wedding ritual.
Pressurised by the situation, Yadav and Gehlot got into a heated argument and a severe altercation took place. As a result, Gehlot strangled his lovers neck with a phone cable and drove towards his eatery to stuff Yadav’s body in the fridge.
