The Delhi Police was carrying out multiple raids on Wednesday to arrest the prime accused in the murder of a man, Vikas Mehta, after the CCTV footage of the crime went viral. In the CCTV footage the attacker is seen firing multiple shots at Mehta and later clicking a picture on his mobile when he falls to the ground. According to the police, Mehta, a gangster, was a member of the PradeepSolanki gang involved in extortion, murders, kidnappings, etc. The Delhi Police said that Mehta was gunned down by a person identified as Kamal Gahlot on October 22 allegedly on his father PawanGahlot's instruction to avenge his uncle's murder. As per the police, PawanGahlot had informed his son about Mehta's presence in Uttam Nagar. In the 18-second video clip, the killer, wearing a yellow T-shirt with a white towel wrapped around his face, is seen chasing a man with a gun in his hand. The killer then fires at the man, who is walking backwards with a red helmet in his hand while looking at his attacker. The bullet hits him and he falls to the ground. The suspect walks back, only to return and pump at least two more bullets into the victim's face. (IANS)
