Disappointed by her NEET scores, MP girl hangs herself, revaluated paper shows she scored big!

18-year-old Vidhi Suryavanshi saw just 6 digits in front of her name in the list when she checked her NEET results. The OMR sheet revealed that Vidhi had actually scored 590 marks.

A mismatch in numbers of NEET examination results forced a bright student in Madhya Pradesh to end her life.

18-year-old Vidhi Suryavanshi, of Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh who aspired to become a doctor, saw just 6 digits in front of her name in the list when she checked her NEET results. 

Disappointed by the scores, Vidhi took the drastic decision of hanging herself by the ceiling fan inside her room on Tuesday morning

However, the family could not believe Vidhi would get such poor scores in the exams, so they recalled for the OMR sheet, following which it was found that she had actually scored 590 marks out of 720.

Police are probing the matter while the dead body has been sent for post-mortem.
