MUMBAI: In one of the horrific incidents occurring in two villages of Maharashtra named Lavul and Majalgaon, enraged monkeys killed 250 puppies in an act of vengeance after a group of dogs in the area killed one of their infant's monkeys.

The monkeys killed dogs by dragging them at high places like the top of the buildings or trees and dropping them off to death as informed by panic-stricken villagers.

According to the local media reports as of now, there is no dog left in the Indian village of Lavul. Some of the dogs were taken away to different places by the owners to hide them from vengeful monkeys and save their life. While trying to save their dogs' many villagers got severely injured.

But shockingly as the monkeys unleashing brutal revenge could not find any more dogs in the village they have not stopped the rampage they're now turning to attack children as said by the residents in the villages witnessing the situation. In turning their fury on children an 8 years old kid was attacked who saved himself from the clutches of the monkey after villagers threw stones.

The group of monkeys started killing dogs one after another for a month for the reason that one of their baby monkeys was killed in Majalgaon village which is situated in the Beed district of Maharashtra.

The monkeys have created a panic situation among the villagers as they seem to attack everyone out of revenge. Villagers reported to the Forest department about the matter and asked to control the situation by catching the enraged monkeys in the area as residents are not safe in such a situation.

As per the request by the villagers, the forest department reached the spot and tried to capture the ramping monkeys but they were unsuccessful in the attempt, failing to catch even one monkey. In such an animal war taking place in small villages of India, humans often faced a lot of troubles as the monkeys started targeting small children.
