The Cyber Crime team of the Gurugram police busted an illegal call centre on Saturday operating at Nirvana Courtyard in Sector-50 and arrested one person in connection with the case. The call centre often used to cheat US nationals on the pretext of providing technical support, the police said. While duping their clients, they used to conceal their identity as service provider of the company. According to the police, a team of the Cyber Crime police station led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (DLF), Karan Goyal, raided the call centre located at plot number C-406, Sector-50 Nirvana Courtyard in Gurugram following a tip-off. During the raid, the police arrested one person and seized a mobile phone and a laptop along with other electronic gadgets. The accused has been identified as Ayush, who originally hails from Panipat and currently resides in Gurugram. He was the owner of the fake call centre titled 'Easy Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd'. During the raid, the police found 10 men and women working at the fake call centre and communicating with US nationals. However, after questioning, the police have released the people employed there.
