From A Mace To Neeraj Chopra's Gold-Winning Javelin, Check Out The Items At e-Auction Website of Prime Minister's Mementos

The key feature of this year's e-Auction is Hero's Items which includes equipment and gadgets used by Olympians and Paralympians.

New Delhi: The e-Auction website of the Prime Minister's mementos is now live and includes several items that are set to be auctioned. The key highlight of this year e-Auction is Hero's items which feature the equipment and gadgets used by Olympians and Paralympians. 

The bidding for the items has been started.

The e-auction features a variety of items that range from a base price of about Rs.2400 to Rs.10,00,00,000.

The items which were used by Olympians and Paralympians are up for auction with their autographs.

A badminton racquet that was used by Badminton Gold medallist of Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games, Krishna Nagar, and has his autograph has been currently put up on the website with a base price of Rs. 80,00,000. However, the highest quoted price at the moment for the badminton racquet is Rs.10,00,00,000.

Similarly, the javelin used by India's sole gold medal winner in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj Chopra, has been put up with a base price of 1,00,00,000. The highest quoted price for this item currently is Rs.1,20,61,000.

The description for Neeraj Chopra's javelin reads, "This is the Javelin that gave India its first Gold Medal in Olympics 2020. Neeraj Chopra made history on August 7, 2021, as he turned into the first from the nation to win a gold in Olympic style events in the Tokyo Olympics. In the finals, he tossed his best 87.58m (in the second of six attempts). His presentation in the passing round was considered among the best exhibitions by an Indian in the Olympics. There are other items such as a mace, sculpture of Ashoka pillar, a bell, a statue of Goddess Laxmi, and more which have a much lower base price.
