According to the police, Jamnagar is one of the worst-affected areas and 11 people have already died as a result of rain-related events. According to state government officials, approach roads flooding has shut off communities in Surendranagar district's Limbdi taluka. They added that residents of one of the villages saved about seven individuals.

The National and State Disaster Response Forces (NDRF and SDRF) are currently working to rescue those who are stuck in all of these locations.
