Husband Uses Wife's Aadhar Card to Check-In Girlfriend Into Hotel, Caught

Pune: A case has been filed against a  41-year-old man and his girlfriend who were charged with a crime after the former reportedly used his wife's Aadhaar card to check into a hotel in Maharashtra's Pune.

The accused man is a Gujarat-based businessman, and his wife is said to be a director in the company. According to the complainant, the wife had planted a GPS tracker in her husband's car and discovered that he was cheating on her, so she filed a complaint.

According to police, the complainant and her husband live in Surat, while the lady her husband is suspected of cheating on her with lives in Yamunanagar, Chandigarh. The man allegedly informed her he was heading to a meeting in Bengaluru, Karnataka. However, because the wife suspected her husband, she used GPS to monitor his car, a Gujrat-registered SUV and discovered the location where he stopped.

She inquired about who was staying in the room with him at the hotel in Bavdhan, Pune. She returned to the hotel later and discovered CCTV footage of the two together, which she recorded on her phone. She also discovered that her husband had booked the room using her name and Aadhaar card.

The man and his girlfriend have been charged with cheating under section 419 of the Indian Penal Code.
