Indian Railways Cancel Over 300 Trains On 18 Feb, Check The Train Names

A total of 43 trains scheduled to run on 18 February has been partially called off and at least 287 trains have been completely cancelled.

NEW DELHI: On Friday 18 February the Indian Railways cancelled over 300 trains because of certain operational reasons.

As per information from railways, among the 300 trains, a total of 43 trains has been partially called off and at least 287 trains scheduled to run on 18 February have been completely cancelled.

It is important to note by the train passengers that the cancelled trains were operational in the Indian states that include Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Punjab, Delhi, Odisha, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

The railways have further changed the origin station of 21 and routes are diverted for 23 trains due to issues in operating the trains. The timings of seven trains has been changed.

For the convenience of the passengers, the Indian Railways has uploaded the full list of cancelled trains on its official websites- http://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes.

The railway officials asked the passengers to check the website for all train information and other updates regarding train rescheduled and diverted trains.

Here's how to check the cancelled trains:

1. Go to the official website http://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes.

2. Select the date of travel

3. On the top of the panel displayed on the screen, select Exceptional Trains

4. Click on the option of 'Cancelled Trains'

5. Select the option 'Fully' in Cancelled Type to have access to the list of trains, routes and all other information.

6. Selection of the option 'Partially' will help to see the list of Source Changed trains

7. On scrolling down you can check the list of short terminated trains.

The Indian Railways has been repeatedly cancelling trains in the recent days due to weather conditions and operational causes.

7. 01540 STR-PUNE DMU

8. 03042 AZ-KWAE PASSENGER SPL

9. 03057 AZ-NILE PASS SPL

10. 03060 NILE- KWAE PASS SPL
