In order to thwart the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Indian Railway has, reportedly, decided to refund 100% ticket prices to passengers, who are cancelling their reservations, till April 15, 2020. Announcing this the Railway Authority has tweeted, “In view of the spread of the COVId-19 and as per the Government instructions, Indian Railway has relaxed its refund rules for Passenger System Counter generated tickets. All passengers will get 100 per cent refund money till April 15.” Meanwhile, the Railway Authority announced that it had cancelled all passenger-train on March 22 following the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister had appealed the countryman to observe ‘Janata Curfew’(Public Curfew) on Sunday.
