New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday announced the exam dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 examination. The exam will be held on July 3, 2021. This was announced during a live session on his official Twitter handle.
During the live session, Minister Nishank said that the date of the JEE Advanced 2021 exam has been scheduled for July 3 so that students can have enough time to study for the entrance exam and cope up with the academic pressure brought on by the Covid 19 pandemic situation. This year IIT Kharagpur will conduct the exam.
The minister further stated that to seek admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) which earlier required students to score 75 percent in class 12 exam has been relaxed this year. Students, however, will have to pass the board exams. He also extended his best wishes to the candidates who will appear for the exam.

Notably, candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2020 exam last and could not appear for JEE Advanced 2020 due to the global Covid 19 pandemic, will have the provision to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination this year.
National Testing Agency (NTA) on December 16, 2020, has released the application form for the JEE Main 2021 exam for February session at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The last date of registration for JEE Main 2021 is January 16. Candidates who have not completed the registration for the same yet must complete it before the last date.
