The much-awaited and one of the top-rated exams held in India, JEE Advanced Result 2019 is declared today by The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-Roorkee). The results, after being declared at 10 am showed Kartikey Gupta Chandresh from Maharashtra grabbing the first rank. Kartikey obtains 346 out of 372 marks.
The results of the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced are declared on the JEE Advanced's official website jeeadv.ac.in. which can be easily availed and checked by the candidates appearing for the examination.
The All India Rank 1 holder Kartikey Gupta is a student of Allen Career Institute Kota’s Mumbai branch who has also obtained All India Rank 18 with a 100 percentile in the JEE Mains 2019. The results of the JEE Mains were declared earlier this year.
A resident of the Chandrapur region of Maharashtra, Kartikey’s father Chandresh Gupta is a manager in the paper industry. His mother Poonam Gupta is a homemaker. His elder brother is a student of B.Tech. in computer science stream who is currently pursuing the course from Bhartiya Vidhya Bhawan Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Among the female candidates appearing for the examination, Shabnam Sahay is the topper with CRL 10. She obtains 308 out of 372 marks.
The examination of the JEE Advanced 2019 was held on May 27, 2019. A total number of 1,61,319 candidates had appeared in both paper one and two of the exam out of which only 38,705 have cleared it. 5,356 are females candidates are there in the list of successful candidates declared today.
