Kangana Ranaut Reacts to Scrapping Farm Laws, Calls it 'Shameful and Absolutely Unfair'

Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress, expressed her dissatisfaction with the government's move to scrap farm rules.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut expressed her dissatisfaction with the government's move to scrap farm rules. Her response was captured in a storey on her Instagram feed. In addition, the actress referred to India as a Jihadi nation.

Notably early today, PM Modi said that the government has agreed to repeal three agriculture bills that were enacted by Parliament in 2020. After months of protests from framers around the country, the decision was made.

"Today, I have come to tell you, the whole country, that we have decided to withdraw all three agricultural laws. In the Parliament session starting later this month, we will complete the constitutional process to repeal these three agricultural laws," stated PM Modi in his address.

She also uploaded a message that included a photo of the late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. "When the nation's conscience is in deep sleep, lath (the cane) is the only option, and tyranny is the only resolve," the post stated. "Wishing you a happy birthday, Madam Prime Minister,"

Actor Kangana Ranaut has been the topic of highlight because of her criticisms, in another top news on the recent monologue issue of Vir Das. Where Vir Das, the comedian, for his newly published YouTube video titled "I come from two Indias," which was part of his recent appearance at the John F Kennedy Center in Washington.

Right after the video recieved a nation wide backlash, Ranaut was also catching eye when she slammed the actor turned comedian with hurtful criticism.

In a six-minute video posted on his YouTube account on Monday, Vir could be heard juxtaposing India's dark aspects by addressing subjects such as the country's fight against COVID-19, gang rapes, farmers' protests, and more.

Kangana wrote on her Instagram storey, "When you generalise all Indian men as gang-rapists it gives rise and encouragement to racism and bullying against Indians all over the world...after Bengal Famine Churchill famously said, 'These Indians breed like rabbits they are bound to die like this...' he blamed Indians' sex drive/fertility for the death of millions because of hunger... Such creative work targeting an entire race is soft terrorism... strict actions must be taken against such criminals @virdas."
