MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has been the latest vctim of COVID-19 as she tested positive for the coronavirus.

It is to be mentioned here that on Saturday, she took to Instagram to share with her followers that she got herself tested after experiencing some discomfort.

Sharing a picture of herself in a yogic posture, she wrote in her caption, "I was feeling tired and weak with a slight burning sensation in my eyes for past few days, was hoping to go to Himachal so got my test done yesterday and today the result came I am covid positive."

She continued, "I have quarantined myself, I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body, now that I know I will demolish it, people please don't give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let's destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small-time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people. Har Har Mahadev."

Recently, Twitter has suspended Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account permanently after a controversial tweet related to the post-election result violence in Bengal. The account repeatedly violated Twitter policy on "hateful conduct and abusive behavior."

She told news agency ANI that she has many platforms she can use to raise her voice, including her own art in the form of cinema. In the tweet that appears to have spurred this action, the actor seems to urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to "tame"

She was reacting to a tweet by journalist-BJP leader Swapan Dasgupta on the violence in Bengal since election results were announced on Sunday (May 2).

However, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and the BJP have blamed each other for the clashes and arson.
