BENGALURU: In an interesting incident in the Tumakuru area of Karnataka, a farmer was shooed away and was humiliated in a car showroom after which he managed to arrange rupees 10 lakh in just 30 minutes to buy the car of his dream SUV.

The farmer named Kempegowda along with his companions went to a car showroom in Tumakuru for booking an SUV car. But shockingly Kempegowda and his friends were insulted by the sales executives saying that he didn't look to have Rupees 10 in his pocket and the car is worth Rupees 10 lakh.

Kempegowda got disappointed and burst out into anger but he dared the sales executive to deliver the mentioned car on that very day as he will be providing the required money as soon as possible.

And after facing the humiliation Kempegowda arranged Rupees 10 lakhs within 30 minutes but the showroom failed to deliver the car on time.

Kempegowda connected all his friends and with their aid, he managed to gather Rupees 10 lakhs. He went back to the showroom and then demanded quick delivery of the vehicle.

The sales executives and other showroom staff were extremely shocked to see Kempegowda with such an amount of money within 30 minutes as they didn't expect him to be able to provide the requisite money together as banks were closed by that time.

The incident took place on Friday 21 January and as the next two days of Saturday and Sunday are government holidays the showroom could not get the SUV car delivered.

Kempegowda along with his friends later lodged a complaint against the showroom working staff in the Tilak Park police station for such behaviour of humiliating the customers.

The videos of the incident went increasingly viral on social media platforms as it is widely shared after it was first shared by a journalist on Twitter. The video then drew a lot of attention as the netizens started reacting to it.

Kempegowda stated that after the incident he has lost all the interest in buying his dream car but now all he wants is a proper written apology from the showroom authority and the sales executive for insulting him and his friends.

He also added that in case an apology is not submitted as per demand then they will hold a protest in front of the car showroom today on Tuesday 25 January 2022.
