New Delhi: Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Lal Krishna Advani was born on November 8 in the year 1927 in Karachi of undivided India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Advani on Twitter, calling him a 'living inspiration' to the BJP workers as well as to all the citizens of the country.
PM Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the senior BJP leader via Twitter. He wrote:
The 93-year-old Advani is one of the co-founders of BJP. He served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002-2004 under former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Advani also served as the Union Home Minister in the BJP-led NDA government from 1998-2004.
The senior BJP leader, Advani wrote his autobiography 'My Country My Life', which was released on March 19, 2008, by the former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam.
Several BJP party workers have wished Advani on Twitter, thanking him for his immense contribution to the growth of the party.
