Maggi, Coffee, Tea To Cost More As Nestle, HUL Hike Prices Of Their Various Products

In February, Hindustan Unilever had increased the price twice in the month. The price of detergent powder and soap had gone up twice in February and its price jumped by up to 9 per cent.

New Delhi: Two major consumer goods giants Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and Nestle India have hiked the prices of their various products such as tea, coffee, milk and noodles.

According to a report, Nestle has increased the prices of Maggi noodles by 9 to 16 per cent. With the revised prices, now a 70 gram pack of Maggi Masala noodles will be available for Rs 14 instead of Rs 12.

Nestle India has also increased the prices of milk and coffee powder. After increasing the prices, now instead of Rs 12 for a packet of 70 grams of Maggi, Rs 14 will have to be paid. At the same time, the price of Maggi Masala Noodles of 140 grams has increased by Rs 3 i.e. 12.5%.

Earlier in February, Hindustan Unilever had increased the price twice in the month. The price of detergent powder and soap had gone up twice in February and its price jumped by up to 9 per cent.

Apart from these, in February, HUL had further increased the prices of stock keeping units of brands such as Lifebuoy, Lux and Pearce soaps besides Surf Excel Matic, Comfort Fabric Conditioner, Dove Body Wash.

Nestle has also increased the price of one liter of A+ milk. Earlier, 75 rupees had to be paid for this, whereas now 78 rupees have to be paid. Nescafe Classic Coffee Powder prices have also been increased by 3-7%.

At the same time, the pack of Nescafe of 25 grams has now become 2.5% expensive. For this, instead of 78 rupees, now 80 rupees will have to be paid. Along with this, instead of Rs 145, Rs 150 will have to be paid for 50 grams of Nescafe Classic.
