National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 examination results to be declared today after 4pm

The much-awaited results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 examination is scheduled to be declared today. The examination, held by the National Testing Agency (NTA), was held on May 5 and May 20. The notification on the declaration of the results has already been published on the official website of NTA.

Although a total of 15,19,375 candidates had registered for the examination, however, 14,10,754 candidates could finally appear for the examination across the country. The examination had one paper consisting of 180 objective type questions from physics, chemistry and biology. Before this, NTA has also uploaded the answer key of the examination on May 30 and students were also given some time to raise an objection regarding any confusion or conflict with the answer keys being provided.

Candidates appearing for the NEET 2019 examination can check their result on NTA website at www.ntaneet.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency, while conducting the examination on May 5 and May 20, have also kept this factor in mind that every eligible and registered student gets to appear for the examination. This is why it conducted the NEET examination for the Fani-affected candidates in Odisha and Karnataka on May 20.

Candidates qualifying in the NEET (UG) – 2019 would be also eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium of the examination. The qualifying students will be eligible to get admission in various medical and dental colleges for pursuing MBBS and BDS courses.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was formerly known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and this entrance examination is held for students who wish to study graduate and postgraduate medical courses (MBBS, MD, MS) and dental courses (BDS, MDS). Candidates qualifying in this exam are eligible to take admission in all government or private medical colleges and dental colleges that are based in India.
