Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau has now seized mobiles phones of Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh related to drugs case.
Deepika Padukone, one of the biggest star in Bollywood film industry, was questioned for six hours on Saturday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai.
According to latest updates, 'Padmavaat' star denied consuming drugs while being grilled by the NCB today.
The actress has admitted to having the drug chat.
In connection to their role in Bollywood's drug nexus, actors Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were also summoned by NCB for inquiry.
According to news reports, Sara Ali Khan has also refuted allegations of consuming drugs.
While interrogation, Sara Ali Khan admitted to visiting the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's farmhouse and also that she went on a Thailand trip alongside the late actor.
' Kedarnath' actress also reportedly gave information about the parties that were held in Sushant Singh's farmhouse.
As per reports, mobile phones of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput's talent manager Jaya Saha and fashion designer Simone Khambatta will now undergo forensic examination.
The drug probe agency is looking to understand and unearth the supply of the narcotics substance and not just the individual user of the drugs.
As per sources, the NCB questioned Deepika for over five hours at the Evelyn Guest House in Mumbai's Colaba on Saturday and Rakul for over four hours on Friday.
Following the order by Enforcement Directorate(ED), the drug agency NCB has filed a case after it found alleged chats of Deepika with her former manager in 2017 discussing drugs.
Initially, the probe into Bollywood's drugs links started with actor Rhea Chakraborty's questioning, three months after Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai home on June 14.
