New app to identify fake news

The IIT Dharwad students have developed an app to identify fake news.

Bengaluru: In today's date, fake news has taken over our lives. Various agencies as well as individuals compromise on the quality and authenticity of the news. However, it is indeed important to identify and stop the spread of fake news.

The students of IIT Dharwad, Karnataka have made an effort to identify fake news. The app, which will be launched in two months, will be a great tool to find fake news.

The information about this innovation was shared by the Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank through twitter. He called this "a wonderful innovation.

Aman and his friends from IIT Dharwad contributed to the invention of this app. He said that the app will not only help in identifying fake news but will also bring out the truth to the readers.

Fake news has mostly spread with the help of social media. Every now, and then we all come across news that has hardly any authenticity. The sad part is, we mostly fall for such news. It later spreads to mass, causing further trouble.

Aman said that after a lot of brainstorming over the issue of fake news, he and his friends decided to develop an app as the solution to the problem. The app has been appreciated by various people. After its launch, it can be downloaded from various platforms.
