GUWAHATI:
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to resume the services of
passenger special train between Silchar in Assam and Bhairabi of Mizoram from
this week for the benefit of local passengers.
The NFR in a press statement has informed that services of Train No. 05567/05568 Silchar – Bhairabi – Silchar passenger special have been resumed as bi-weekly service from September 10.
"The train will leave from Silchar on every Tuesday and Friday at 16-55 hours to reach Bhairabi at 21-00 hours and leave from Bhairabi on every Wednesday and Saturday at 05-30 hours to reach Silchar at 09-20 hours", the NFR said in the press statement.
The NFR also informed that services of weekly special train running between Agartala and Secundrabad have been extended to run for more three trips as per existing path, timings, stoppages and composition.
According to NFR services of Train No. 07030/07029 Secunderabad – Agartala – Secunderabad weekly special have been extended to run for more three trips. The train will leave from Secunderabad on 13th, 20th and 27th September 2021 (Monday) and from Agartala on 17th, 24th September and 1st October 2021 (Friday).
They have informed that the details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
The NFR also urged that during train journey and on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state and requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regard.
