Noida's Twin Towers To Be Demolished Today At 2:30 PM

New Delhi: The twin towers of Supertech builder in Nodia, built illegally, is all set to be razed in a few seconds at 2:30 pm sharp on Sunday i.e on August 28.

Notably, it is worth mentioning that for the first time, such huge buildings will be demolished in the direction of the court. For this, a long battle was fought from High Court to Supreme Court. Eventually, the common man emerged victorious, who raised their voices against the arbitrariness of the builder and brought the corrupt system to its knees.

Since the demolition is the largest of its kind India has ever seen, evacuation plans for residents, traffic roadmaps, and managing the aftermath of the Noida twin tower demolition have been chalked out days prior to the event.

In a bid to avoid any untoward incident while bringing down the towers, the supply of LPG and electricity to two adjoining societies has been disconnected.

As per Noida Traffic DCP, an emergency route has been made for the blast so that in case of emergency, it can be taken through the green corridor. In addition to this, all roads leading to the twin towers in Noida will remain diverted on Sunday.

Traffic diversion will be done on the expressway during the demolition of the twin towers. Vehicles will have to travel several km from Noida to Pari Chowk and from Pari Chowk to Noida. This effect will also be on the buses of UP Roadways. However, the operation of buses will not be affected.

Reportedly, the expressway will be closed at around 2.15 pm, just before the demolition of the twin towers in Noida. It will be opened only half an hour after the blast after the dust settles. During this, 560 police personnel, 100 people from Reserve Force, 4 quick response teams, and the NDRF team will be deployed.

The primary blast will be done on 10 floors of each of both towers. It consists of B-1, 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26 and 32 floors. After this, a secondary blast will be done on the eight floors of both towers. It consists of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 and 30 floors.

Nearby hospitals have been put on alert before the twin towers are demolished, as well as many ambulances have been deployed. Apart from this, people have been advised to wear masks.
