Earlier, Reliance Jio, the well-known Indian telecom provider that has set up 5G SA (standalone) network services in numerous cities, has also partnered with ILBS (Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences). Through the cooperation, ILBS will be able to access Jio's 5G network and use it for cutting-edge medical technology. In addition to having extremely low latency, 5G claims to support real-time engagement and data exchange. Healthcare providers can benefit from Jio's 5G.

At the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Reliance Jio also demonstrated the 5G linked ambulance use case. If used well, the upcoming 5G technology has the potential to be a game-changer for the healthcare industry. The convergence of 5G and healthcare was on display at the IMC 2022 by all Indian telecom providers, including Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi).
