Guwahati: Deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput's rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty's had requested a "protective order" which has been refused by the Supreme Court, said reports.
Thus, with no interim protection from the question, Bihar police, which has become involved in the proceedings after the intervention of the state's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, can ask their questions to Rhea.
Earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput's father has filed an FIR against Rhea charging her with "abetment to suicide, theft, wrongful confinement and cheating."
Sushant reportedly committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 and since then the Mumbai police has been probing the case. The case, however, has been taking several twists and turns.
In a latest development, the Centre has accepted the Bihar Government's request to transfer the inquiry into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput from Mumbai Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
This comes amid a tug of war between the Bihar and Maharashtra police to probe the death of the popular actor who was found dead inside his Mumbai residence on June 14. The Maharashtra Government is reportedly opposed to the transferring of the probe to the central agency. Meanwhile, the actor's rumoured girlfriend Rhea has sought transfer of FIR lodged in Patna by Sushant's family members on the ground of "jurisdiction."
